Salary - £8,283.75 -£10,425 p.a. dependant on qualifications and experience. ( based on FTE £33,135-£41,700) -9 hours a week.
Holiday- 42 days per annum plus bank holidays ( pro rata for part time )

About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering life skills in the Department of Inclusive Learning, teaching young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). This post will also include delivery of integrated and dedicated Entry Level Functional Skills (English and Maths) throughout the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
As a lecturer for students with SEND, you will report directly to the Curriculum Manager. You will be responsible for delivering life skills across the range of course levels across Inclusive Learning provision, incorporating key curriculum areas of intent. This will include:
- The development of effective communication skills and increased self-confidence that will lead to improved wellbeing.
- The development of independent living skills that our young people need to make a successful transition into adult life.
- The development of vocational/work skills that will form the stepping-stones to employment and/or supported employment.
- Community Inclusion to ensure young people are active and safely engaged in their communities.
- The development of health and wellbeing awareness across our provision, supporting young people to make healthy choices that will result in good health outcomes

About You
? Degree in a related subject
? Teacher training qualification such as a PGCE or DTLLS or willingness to achieve
? GCSEs C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
? Proven teaching experience in subject specialism in an FE environment
? Proven experience of teaching adults with Special Educational Need and/or Disabilities
