Based within the School of Engineering at the University of Greenwich, this role is part of a strategic transformation to focus on Digital Engineering, with a particular emphasis on Infrastructure and the Built Environment. The School operates across the Greenwich and Medway campuses; this post is primarily based at Greenwich, contributing to the delivery and development of Built Environment programmes.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the Infrastructure and Built Environment portfolio, especially in the established Quantity Surveying and Construction Management programmes, supporting the School’s strategic aims and ensuring alignment with professional bodies such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The role involves teaching, research or professional practice in a relevant field, sector‑informed insight, pedagogical innovation, curriculum development and support for enterprise and research activities.
The post also requires active contribution to the University’s performance in the Research Excellence Framework ( أعضاء) , Teaching Excellence Framework TEF, and Knowledge Exchange Framework KEF, with a clear commitment to enhancing student satisfaction and experience. A PhD or equivalent professional experience is essential; higher education teaching or industry‑led training experience is highly desirable, as is familiarity with professional standards and accreditation.
Membership of a PSRB, particularly RICS, would be a significant advantage.
