Lecturer in Psychology (Distance Learning)
Arden University, a multi‑award‑winning institution, is seeking a Lecturer in Psychology for our Distance Learning Psychology Department. This role is primarily remote with occasional travel to Coventry or UK campuses.
Salary: £41,220 – £47,728 per annum

Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent teaching and learning to students.
- Lead and develop modules, ensuring high‑quality learning materials and curriculum development.
- Design digital teaching material that meets defined learning objectives.
- Undertake assessment marking, design authentic assessments, and provide quality feedback.
- Manage teaching activity and reflect on practice, with support/guidance as needed.
- Undertake administrative activities to support teaching and learning.
- Actively contribute to School‑level activity.
About You
- An MSc or equivalent in Psychology, with GBC recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Experience in teaching, learning and assessment practices in Higher Education.
- Track record of successfully contributing to programme teams, inspiring and creative lecturer.
- AdvanceHE Recognition – FHEA or willing to achieve within 12–18 months.
- Preferable experience in core BPS curriculum, especially Biological or Cognitive Psychology.
Highly Desirable Criteria: A PhD (or close to completion) in Psychology or a closely related subject.
