The Role You’ll deliver and help shape our BA (Hons) Business Management programme, supporting students to develop analytical, strategic, and entrepreneurial skills essential for success in today’s fast-changing business environment. We are particularly interested in lecturers who can teach and lead in the following subject areas:
- Research Methods
- Business Strategy
- Entrepreneurship & Innovation
- Leadership
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching using LCCA’s blended and experiential learning model.
- Design and update learning materials, assessments, and feedback processes that promote reflective and practical learning.
- Support and mentor students academically and pastorally to ensure strong progression and achievement.
- Embed real-world case studies and professional insight drawn from your own experience.
- Maintain subject expertise through scholarly activity, research, or professional practice.
- Collaborate with academic colleagues on curriculum enhancement, course reviews, and quality processes.
- Use digital learning tools effectively to enhance student engagement.
About You
You’re an inspiring academic and practitioner who’s excited by the opportunity to connect business theory with practice. You bring a learner-centred approach, a commitment to inclusive education, and a passion for helping others reach their potential.
Essential
- A Bachelor’s degree and postgraduate qualification in Business or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- At least two years’ experience teaching in Higher Education, including work with students from diverse and widening-participation backgrounds.
- Evidence of innovative and experiential teaching that engages and inspires.
- Strong understanding of assessment design and constructive feedback.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
- Confidence in using digital platforms to enhance learning and teaching.
Desirable
- PhD or equivalent research/professional standing.
- Fellowship (or working towards Fellowship) of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
- Experience teaching at Level 3 to 6 and/or Level 7.
- A strong industry or consultancy background, with networks that enhance employability and enterprise activity.
