Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced, motivated Health Lecturer to deliver Level 4 Integrated Health modules on a temporary/hourly-paid basis. As part of the team, you will deliver stimulating, high-quality teaching and support students through their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Level 4 Integrated Health modules covering areas such as: Making a Difference (supporting clients/patients with specific needs), Growing Pains (understanding physical and mental changes in people), Psychology (physical & mental changes, wellbeing), Wellness & Mental Health, and Dissertation support.
- Plan and prepare lessons, schemes of learning, and assessment materials.
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintain registers, provide feedback, and support student welfare.
- Contribute to course administration, internal quality assurance, and curriculum development as required.
- Provide pastoral and academic support to students, promoting inclusive learning and high standards.
Person Specification
Essential:
- A relevant qualification in health and social care (Level 4 or above) or equivalent.
- Experience of working in health/ social care or related educational.
