Our client, a leading organization committed to developing future talent, is seeking an experienced and passionate Apprenticeship Program Manager to join their team, based remotely to support operations in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK. This role is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing management of comprehensive apprenticeship programs that meet the needs of both the business and the apprentices.
You will oversee the entire apprentice lifecycle, from recruitment and selection to training, development, and progression. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of apprenticeship frameworks, funding mechanisms, and best practices in vocational education. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing curriculum content in collaboration with subject matter experts
- Identifying suitable training providers
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Managing relationships with apprentices, mentors, and line managers
- Providing guidance and support throughout the program
- Tracking apprentice progress
- Conducting reviews
- Implementing strategies to maximize retention and success rates
Experience in HR, Learning & Development, or vocational training is highly desirable. You should be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and have a proven ability to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
This is a fully remote position, requiring a dedicated home office, strong digital collaboration skills, and the ability to travel occasionally for key meetings or site visits.
