As an Employability Skills Trainer, youll deliver engaging, classroom-based training sessions across various subject areas at level one, including:
Employability SkillsCustomer ServiceMental Health AwarenessBusiness Administration Youll support and motivate learners many of whom are unemployed or from ESOL backgrounds, guiding them toward positive progression.Training will take place across multiple delivery centres in Hertfordshire and surrounding areas including Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire with some remote delivery via Teams and online platforms.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging training sessions in classroom settingsProvide ongoing mentoring, coaching and supportDeliver sessions both face-to-face and onlineSet clear targets and provide regular feedbackSupport learners academically and pastorally to raise aspiration and progressionTrack progress using relevant softwareMaintain accurate records including enrolment, attendance, and additional learner needsContinuously evaluate and improve your own delivery and learner outcomesWhat Youll Need:
Recognised Assessors Award such as TAQA or CAVARecognised teaching qualification (highly desirable)Experience delivering employability or vocational trainingStrong classroom management and communication skillsUnderstanding of Ofsted and the Education Inspection FrameworkExperience supporting learners from diverse backgrounds (e.g.
