Unqualified Sports Coach – Full Time (School-Based Role in Pentre)
£89.38 per day (£13.75 per hour)
Are you passionate about sports and enthusiastic about working with children? One of our welcoming partner secondary schools in Pentre is seeking a Sports Coach to support pupils across the school day. This is a full-time, school-based role for the academic year – no formal qualifications required, just the right attitude and a desire to make a difference.
About the Role:
As a Sports Coach working within a secondary school environment, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and structured play
- Encourage active participation and teamwork through physical activity
- Assist children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), such as Autism and ADHD
- Promote positive behaviour and help manage group dynamics
- Provide one-on-one and small group support inside and outside the classroom

Previous school experience is a bonus – but not essential. We welcome applicants from coaching, youth work, care, or community sports backgrounds.

- Education Workforce Council (EWC) Registration
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Two references covering the last two years
