Description
We are seeking dynamic and experienced Associate Lecturers to join our collegial team, on a part time temporary basis, to contribute to the teaching of digital skills for fashion design across all levels of the undergraduate programme.
The course offers a comprehensive and forward-thinking design education, nurturing ambitious and dedicated students as they prepare for careers in the fashion industry.
You must have knowledge of at least one of the following:
- The use of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for fashion design
- The use of CLO3d
About the Role
- To undertake teaching (lectures, practical's, seminars, discussion groups and tutorials as appropriate)
- Supporting undergraduate students in groups, individually and in online environments
- Mark assessments associated with teaching and attend required assessment and examination meetings as required
- Administration in accordance with university practice (e.g. Monitoring student attendance, written feedback on coursework, maintaining marking lists)
- Contribute to syllabus planning in relevant modules
- To undertake professional updating in the relevant subject area
- Have due regard for health and safety in the workplace
- Any other responsibilities determined by the University as deemed appropriate to the post
