This apprenticeship is ideal for those passionate about social justice, community support, and helping people navigate complex benefit systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an apprentice practitioner, you will:
- Support clients to access the benefits they’re entitled to, including Universal Credit, Housing Benefit, PIP, ESA, and more.
- Provide advice and casework around council tax, debt, rent arrears, and other revenue-related issues.
- Work alongside experienced advisers and caseworkers in a friendly, inclusive team.
- Complete structured learning and gain a nationally recognised Level 4 qualification.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be an expert — we’re looking for potential. Ideally, you will:
- Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Be committed to social justice and empowering communities.
- Have good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Be able to manage your time effectively between work and study.
Previous experience in advice or benefits work is a plus but not essential.
