About the role:
The key focus of this role is to coordinate and support the implementation of the school liaison programme, acting as a key point of contact for schools. The School Liaison Coordinator is also responsible for organising the team of staff who support the high number of events across the academic year. This involves organising staffing and materials for each of the School Liaison events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a calendar of schools liaison events, with partner schools to help meet the promotional needs of the college.
- Coordination of School Liaison Team Representatives to ensure all activities are staffed sufficiently with the most appropriate member of the team.
- Ensure all liaison events are suitably covered by appropriate college staff in order to meet our partner school needs.
- Make every effort to build our presence in key target schools as identified by the college
- Countersign staff pay claims for School Liaison events and activities
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
- Evidence of commitment to professional development
- Experience in post 16 education
- A good standard of Maths and English
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Computer literate
