About the Opportunity
As a Software Developer Apprentice in the Time & Frequency team, you’ll contribute to building and maintaining software that underpins critical national infrastructure. Over a two-year Level 4 apprenticeship, you’ll gain practical experience working alongside experts, supported by a structured training programme that blends on-the-job learning with formal study. You’ll also develop vital soft skills including communication, time management, and teamwork, setting you up for a long-term career in software engineering.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in ICT, STEM A-Level, BTEC in IT, or 1+ year IT experience
- Practical enthusiasm for software and technology
- Professional attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Willingness to work on site full-time
- Eligibility for BPSS and SC security clearance
