We’re now looking for a knowledgeable and practical Electrical Tutor/Assessor to join our team in Exeter. You’ll deliver hands-on training in installation and inspection & testing and support learners through both classroom sessions and assessment activities. You’ll be part of a professional, supportive team that values consistency, clarity, and industry relevance in every session we deliver.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering practical electrical training to small groups of adult learners
- Supporting students through structured theory sessions, assessments, and one-to-one feedback
- Maintaining accurate learner records and helping learners stay on track with their qualification
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe training environment
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of our delivery standards
What We’re Looking For:
- On-site experience as an installer and tester
- Level 3 qualifications in 18th Edition (BS 7671) and Inspection & Testing
- Assessor qualification (A1/TAQA or equivalent)
- A clear and professional communication style with a practical approach to teaching
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is welcome but not essential – full training and support provided
What You’ll Get:
- £35,000–£45,000 salary, depending on experience
