Position: Freelance
Assessors are required for the following geographical regions:
- South West UK
- South East UK
- London and surrounding areas
£130 per day of assessment, including travel time
Travel at HMRC rates and parking expenses paid
Report to: Lead Internal Quality Assurer for Childcare and Education
Essential Criteria:
- Must hold an Assessor Award, CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent.
- Must hold recognised, relevant Childcare qualifications, ideally up to Level 6.
- Must be occupationally competent with experience of working in Childcare settings.
- Demonstrate a commitment to equality and diversity and quality assurance.
- Possess a full driving licence with access to transport for travel to workplace observations.
- Possess excellent communication and written skills.
- Must have a proficient level of ICT skills.
Duties include:
- Support learners working towards qualifications in Childcare up to Level 5, depending on own qualifications.
- Provide candidates with verbal and written feedback from assessment.
- Undertake timely observations relating to specific assessment criteria.
- Liaise closely with the Assessor Co-ordinator, who will support you to plan and organise work-based assessments.
- To undertake all necessary preparation, administration and assessment associated with the support of learners.
