With ambitious growth plans for the future, AFG College with the University of Aberdeen is looking to recruit committed academic professionals who are seeking new opportunities within the international higher education sector.AFG College has three Schools: the School of Business and Law, the School of Computing and Technology and the School of Health Sciences. The Dean of the School of Business and Law will perform a critical role within AFG College ensuring that the quality standards defined by the University of Aberdeen are developed and maintained. The Dean will lead on developing the undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education developments for AFG College in partnership with the University of Aberdeen. The Dean will take the leading role in driving the School forward, supporting AFG College’s mission and strategic objectives, and taking a leadership role in engaging with industry and professional bodies in the region.
Job Description
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
- You will work with AFG College with University of Aberdeen faculty and Programme Leader/s to deliver the curriculum to both undergraduate and post graduate students.
- You will have responsibility for the assurance and enhancement of the University’s academic standards within the course(s).
- You will develop and deliver an outstanding student experience across the course(s).
- You may be asked to take on additional academic roles as part of your wider academic role.
