The Role: This is an incredibly exciting time to join the
Centre for Academic and Digital Innovation (cadi.port.ac.uk) at the University of Portsmouth. Established in September 2024, CADI is a new, dynamic department at the heart of the University’s commitment to enhancing learning and teaching. We are a collaborative and future-focused team, working across ten strategic priorities that include authentic assessment and AI, awarding gaps, inclusive learning design and the development of the Portsmouth Pedagogy. Our work is already making a difference at the University and across the HE sector – and we are just getting started.
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable educator to join us as a Senior Lecturer in Higher Education. This is not a narrow specialist role; we are seeking a generalist who thrives on variety and is excited by the opportunity to support learning and teaching enhancement across a wide range of topics and contexts. In particular, we’re looking for someone with experience of the Professional Standards Framework and supporting Fellowship claims. Holding a D3 Fellowship yourself would be a real asset, ensuring you can contribute fully to our Fellowship community and APEX our experiential route to Fellowship (apex.port.ac.uk).
