Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of vocational courses
- Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons that meet awarding body standards
- Monitor and track learner progress, attendance and achievement
- Provide academic and pastoral support as a group tutor
- Set and review SMART targets using individual learning plans
- Support learners to progress into employment or higher education
- Contribute to enrichment activities and work experience opportunities
- Maintain accurate records and meet quality assurance standards
- Liaise with colleagues, parents/guardians, and external stakeholders where required
What We’re Looking For
- Experience teaching or training in a relevant subject area
- Industry experience within your vocational specialism
- A teaching qualification
- Relevant professional qualification in your subject area
- Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Assessing qualification (A1/TAQA) or willingness to achieve
All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
