We are seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Safety Critical Trainer to deliver high-quality, compliant training within the Rail Training Assurance Scheme (RTAS) and Sentinel Scheme standards. Approved by the Assurance Organisation on behalf of Network Rail, you’ll be responsible for facilitating training sessions across a variety of safety-critical competencies, ensuring every delegate is trained to the highest industry standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver approved Network Rail training using current materials from the Network Rail Training ToolkitMaintain accurate, compliant training records and upload outcomes to the Sentinel DatabaseEnsure all pre-course checks, Sentinel verifications, and learner prerequisites are completedPromote and maintain a safe training environment in accordance with Lifesaving RulesAdhere to and promote company procedures, including fatigue management and observation cyclesParticipate in monthly standardisation meetings, CPD activities, and Quality Improvement PlansAssist in the creation and upkeep of Self-Assessment Reports and other quality initiativesEnsure full compliance with RTAS Rules, NSAR standards, and Transport for London proceduresSupport investigations and formal reviews as needed

Hybrid working within this role enables a balance of 50 per cent of time split between the office and home over a 4 week period. Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements.
