Cornwallis Academy is a 'Good' school on the outskirts ofLoose, Maidstone with over 1300 students on roll aged 11 to 18. Cornwallis' aimis to provide all students with the best educational provision.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding Teacher who caninspire and excite students in their learning of Humanities, specificallyacross RE and History. You will be joining a well-resourced departmentthat is driven in our focus on raising achievement. RE and History are both popularoptions at GCSE and Post-16 and the post offers outstanding opportunities forcontinuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated andambitious teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT or experiencedteacher.
As well as our state-of-the-art facilities, andinnovative digital curriculum, we have an exciting programme of trips, visits,visitors and extra-curricular activities. The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (desirable but not essential)
- Experience of teaching RE and/or History
- An excellent teacher who is passionate about learningand has strong subject knowledge
