Who we are
Teachersrise organises teacher training courses and projects for schools from all over Europe, all funded by the Erasmus+ programme. Our team is made up of a network of experienced teacher trainers, and we are dedicated to teachers who want to undertake professional development in a friendly atmosphere for learning and transformation. We are based in Padova but we work in several locations around Italy and Europe. As we prepare for the UK's return to the Erasmus program, we are looking for trainers, especially for our AI/digital courses. However, we accept applications for other topics as well!
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Teacher Trainer to support educators in developing innovative, student-centered teaching practices with a strong focus on digital transformation in education.
You will design and deliver professional development programs, facilitate workshops, mentor teachers, and contribute to the creation of high-quality training materials. The ideal candidate combines strong pedagogical expertise with hands-on experience in digital education and teacher coaching.
Our courses are conducted in English. They will take place face-to-face and on-site in real classrooms (not online). Courses usually start on Monday and end on Friday and take place in the morning.
Please note that this position is not a permanent employment offer, but an EXTERNAL freelancer opportunity based on the approved Erasmus+ projects. Please notice that the courses will start from mid-2027 onwards.
Key responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging teacher training sessions, workshops, and seminars.Adapt training materials to different audiences, subjects, and learning environments.Facilitate collaborative learning, reflection, and practical application of teaching strategies.Provide constructive feedback and mentoring to participating teachers.Evaluate training effectiveness and contribute to continuous program improvement.Stay informed about current trends in education, pedagogy, and digital learning.
Requirements
Proven experience as a teacher trainer, instructional coach, or professional development facilitator.Strong background in pedagogy and curriculum design.Demonstrated expertise in digital education and educational technology.Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.Ability to engage and motivate adult learners.Fluency in English; additional European languages are an asset.
