At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate Electrical Installation Tutor Assessor to join their expanding team based in Northampton.
This is a full time permanent Electrical Installation Tutor Assessor position delivering high quality electrical education and support to apprentices. You will play a vital role in helping learners develop practical skills, confidence and employability.
As an Electrical Installation Tutor Assessor, you will deliver structured training, assess learner progress and support apprentices through their qualification journey.
What you will be doing:
• Deliver engaging electrical installation training to apprentices for Level 3 Electrical Installation (5357), including 18th Edition wiring and advanced craft certificate. You may have experience of 16th or 17th Edition for this Electrical Installation Tutor Assessor role
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of learners
• Assess progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure effective learning outcomes
• Provide one to one or small group support
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and attendance
• Carry out on site visits to review and assess apprentices in the workplace
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence
• Collaborate with colleagues to support learners with special educational needs
What we are looking for:
• Proven experience in teaching, tutoring or assessing, especially with apprentices
• You must be either assessor or teacher qualified
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy and a genuine interest in helping learners succeed
Salary and benefits:
• Salary £34,000 to £41,000 per annum
• 37 hours per week, starting at 8.30am and finishing at 5pm
