We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Business to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College.
Due to growth in the department, we have an exciting opportunity for an engaging, innovative, and dynamic teacher to teach our students.
You will teach and assess across units to our learners and when required, cover lessons. We are seeking an exceptional candidate with a background in finance, supply & procurement and/or business start-up who can teach across a range of business subjects.
Responsibilities of this role include;
To deliver high quality and challenging learning experiencesTo lead and devise appropriate assessments and assessment strategies and feedback to learners through a variety of formative and summative assessment methodsDeliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeedMonitor students progress to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability
What we are looking for;
Strong interpersonal and organisational skillsWork effectively in a large cross-curricular teamExcellent planning and administration skills and be able to work with deadlineKnowledge of a range of teaching methodologiesPossess a degree in a relevant subject areaPossess a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one)
