You will play a key role in creating a positive, engaging and highly supportive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.Pupils at the school have a range of additional needs including autism, communication and interaction difficulties, sensory needs and complex learning needs. We are looking for someone who can adapt learning to meet individual needs while fostering confidence, independence and achievement.Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external professionals Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Contribute to the wider life of the academy and ongoing curriculum development We Are Looking For Someone Who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Has experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally within a primary or specialist setting Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and strong behaviour management skills Is patient, adaptable and resilient Has a passion for inclusive education and pupil-centred learning Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young peopleWho are Aspire People?
