Health & Social Care Teachers Required - September 2026
We are working with a range of welcoming and well-resourced secondary schools across the Canterbury area who are seeking enthusiastic Health & Social Care Teachers to join their teams on a full-time basis from September 2026.
The Role
As a Health & Social Care Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across up to KS4
- Inspire students to achieve their full potential in Health & Social Care
- Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements
- Monitor and support student progress through effective feedback and interventionContribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and departmental initiatives
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Health & Social Care within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student success
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Salary & Benefits
- £32,916 - £51,047 per annum, dependent on experience, qualifications, and additional responsibilities - PAYE

Additional Requirements
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
