The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the operational and financial management of the school, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures, and supporting the senior leadership team with strategic planning and resource management.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the school's finances, budgets and financial reporting
- Monitoring expenditure and ensuring value for money across the school
- Supporting the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team with operational planning
- Overseeing administrative processes and office systems
- Managing contracts, procurement and service level agreements
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and school policies
- Working collaboratively with office staff, governors and external stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working as a School Business Manager within a school setting
- Proficiency in using school management systems such as SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom
- Strong financial management and budgeting experience
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proactive and solution focused approach
