We are seeking a confident, committed and ambitious Key Stage 1 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our school during an exciting period of growth and development. You will be a qualified HLTA, able to cover class teaching. You will support the delivery of high-quality provision across Key Stage 1, working closely with small groups and individual learners to build confidence and develop essential skills. Experience with primary-level approaches is highly desirable, as many of our students benefit from targeted support in core foundations.
Responsibilities
You will play an active role in lesson delivery, support teaching staff and contribute to a calm and purposeful learning environment. While experience supporting students with SEND, particularly those with SEMH, ASD or ADHD, is valued, it is not essential. More important is a flexible and compassionate approach, along with the ability to adapt support to meet a range of learning needs.
