About the School
St Thomas a Becket Roman Catholic Primary School is a friendly, nurturing, aspirational school in the Archdiocese of Southwark. The Governing Body wishes to appoint a passionate leader who will continue to maintain the vision, values, strengths and stability of the school. Working together with our dedicated and caring staff, a supportive Governing Body and happy children who have a thirst for learning, the Deputy Headteacher would be willing to support leading the school with compassion and commitment so our children are equipped to reach their goals with their faith and vision supporting them on their journey.

Responsibilities
- Support the Headteacher in strategic leadership.
- Consolidate and build upon the high expectations of attainment and achievement to drive improvement in teaching and learning.
- Nurture each child as an individual, whatever their ability and needs.
- Collaborate with all members of the school community to evolve and grow the school vision.

- Practising Catholic who supports and values the school's Catholic ethos.
- Outstanding teacher who inspires children and is able to share exemplary practice across the whole school.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, aspirational and eager to work collaboratively.
