About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen to offer the right individual an opportunity to join the Apprenticeship Training Team of Educational and Sporting Futures, based in our Stevenage office.
As a Curriculum Lead, the role will include the undertaking of a variety of tasks relating to the continued development and delivery of a variety of PE based apprenticeships. This will include apprenticeships that are focused on: developing school PE co-ordinators, Sports Coaches, upskilling PE Teaching Assistants, and/or equipping schools with the knowledge and skills to support the growing PE and physical activity of young people.
The role will involve delivering the apprenticeship from start to End Point Assessment as well as supporting the wider workforce of freelance / hub site tutors. It is a great opportunity to step into the training provider world and bring your experience from an educational setting. It is a position that could be ideal for a teacher/tutor with experience in a school or college setting who is considering a fresh, exciting new challenge, stepping into and developing their skills within the Apprenticeship world.

Overview of ResponsibilitiesWork with team members to contribute towards the development of aspiring school PE co-ordinators, Sports Coaches, upskilling PE Teaching Assistants, through the delivery of High Quality apprenticeships Attend regular Core Team meetings to support CPD Lead team meetings to support Freelance / Hub-site Tutors to understand processes and deliver programmes Work with the team to quality assure delivery and share good practice Attend conferences and training when appropriate Work with the team to create high quality teaching and learning resources With the Senior Team; have an overview of the delivery of the curriculum area across the company Partner Management: responsibility for working with and supporting the Senior Team with managing relationships with various partners, including apprentices, employers, trainers, and external partners. With support in the first instance, you will act as a point of contact for resolving issues, addressing concerns, and maintaining positive relationships with these partners. This post holder is expected to work proactively with the core team, ensuring program management is delivered effectively at all levels. High end organisational and communication skills and an ability to co-ordinate virtual programs whilst working as a valued member of our team will be essential.
Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, and Skill Levels)Qualified teacher status as recognised by the DfE Experience of teaching at a primary and/or secondary level Experience of developing and maintaining information systems to support effective working using a range of office software, including google, email, spreadsheets and databases
