Following significant growth and the launch of our apprenticeship provision, we're looking for an experienced Hairdressing Educator/Assessor to join our team and help inspire the next generation of hair professionals.

The Role
You will be responsible for delivering the VTCT Level 3 Advanced NVQ Hairdressing qualification, supporting learners through both practical and theory-based training while ensuring all assessment requirements are met.
You'll work with motivated learners who are committed to advancing their careers and developing specialist skills within the industry.
What You'll Be Teaching
We're looking for someone who is confident delivering advanced techniques including:
Creative colouring and colour correctionAdvanced cutting and restyling (both long & short hair)Hair extensionsPerming and chemical reformationCreative styling and session workClient consultation and corrective servicesCommercial salon techniques and current industry trendsWhat We're Looking ForEssential
NVQ Level 3 HairdressingExtensive salon experience with advanced technical skillsAssessor Qualification (TAQA, A1 or CAVA)Previous experience teaching, training or assessing hairdressing learnersStrong organisational and IT skillsExcellent communication and learner support skillsHighly DesirableIQA QualificationExperience delivering VTCT qualificationsExperience using Schwarzkopf Professional productsExperience within FE, private training or apprenticeship deliveryWhy Join RJL Education?
