Nottingham University Samworth Academy has an exciting opportunity for a driven and strategic Deputy Head Teacher of Quality of Education.
As Deputy Head Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the school, leading on curriculum, achievement, and the overall quality of education. You will join a dynamic and values-led leadership team committed to delivering transformational outcomes for our students.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of quality of education at the school.
- Lead the PD SLT member.
- Provide leadership for whole school achievement.
- Provide strategy and analysis to improve performance of disadvantaged and PP pupils.
- Strategically lead pupil premium and catch-up funding.
- Liaise with external agencies to support vulnerable students and those whose first language is not English.
- Organise and lead events including Achievement Evenings and Open Events.
- Improve the school for all stakeholders through the management and response to parent, student and staff voice.
- Lead staff wellbeing activity and actively engage with staff to ensure development and retention.
- Lead the careers program at the school ensuring active links with industry and higher education to support curriculum and enrichment activity.
- Strategically lead parent communication ensuring that all communication is effective and has impact.
- Lead the student leadership in the school ensuring that students voice is effective and has impact across all school years.
