We are looking to appoint two experienced Teaching Assistants to join our supportive, hardworking and successful Cognition and Learning Team. The team is part of Nottinghamshire County Council's SEND Inclusion Service.
You will useyour knowledge, skills and experience to model, advise and deliver effective strategies/ interventions aimed at improving outcomes for children and young people with a wide variety of complex cognition difficulties in Key Stages 2-5. You will work at a variety of levels, using positive and inclusive approaches to provide support and advice to school staff, liaising with parents and engaging in direct work with children and young people, where appropriate. You would work closely with specialist teachers on the team.
We welcome applications from highly motivated, creative practitioners, who enjoy working in a collaborative, solution- focused way. You will be part of a very supportive team, working across the County as required. The role involves a good deal of driving as a result. Your base will depend upon the needs of the team but initially is likely be the Home Brewery Building, Arnold.
