- Salary: Unqualified Teacher (UN1 - UN6) £9,039 to £14,102 per annum (actual). £22,599 to £35,256 per annum FTE (2026 pay award pending)

Our school has been at the heart of the village community for the last 150 years. We believe children should feel they belong with us and be developed to become the best that they possibly can be. We support all children to 'Thrive Together' and work closely with parents, carers and stakeholders.
The school consists of a preschool and the main primary school. The main school has two classes per year group, with children admitted from aged 4-11. Our outdoor space features gardens, a mud kitchen and access to a forest school site, as well as a large field, orchard and woodland.
Role Summary
Lytchett Matravers Primary School are seeking a Music Specialist Teacher. This classroom-based role involves teaching music to a range of classes within the school, developing curriculum, and supporting pupils to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding teaching, curriculum development, and effective extra-curricular leadership.
