Are you highly organized, data-driven, and ready to optimize the learning environment for thousands of students? We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Timetabling and Resourcing Coordinator to join our dynamic MIS team at Inspire Education Group.
This is an exciting opportunity to ensure the operational co-ordination, management, and optimal utilisation of the College’s timetabling software and central room booking systems. You will act as a primary contact for service desk requests, resolve booking conflicts, and ensure a timely, accurate, and robust timetable is completely in place before course start dates, contributing significantly to the overall student experience.
About the Role
As a Timetabling and Resourcing Coordinator, you will:
Act as the primary system administrator for the College’s central timetabling and room booking function.Undertake accurate data entry across all funding streams, covering course timetables, staff hours, resources, and change requests.Ensure exact alignment between the course offer set up on the student management system (e.g., ProSolution) and live timetables.Actively implement, monitor, and enforce Study Programme Policy controls to ensure planned learning hours align strictly with national FE funding rules (DfE, CPCA, GLCCA, OfS).Lead on tracking room and staff utilisation to ensure curriculum delivery represents value for money and fits the core curriculum plan.Proactively review and analyse room occupancy and space utilisation reports from ProSolution to identify and execute efficiency enhancements.Resolve complex timetabling and room booking conflicts, negotiating positive solutions to optimize space allocation.Produce, validate, and scope timetabling management reports, space utilisation statistics, and exception reports.Provide clear guidance, training, and support to curriculum and support staff on timetabling systems and service desk procedures.Maintain a deep understanding of diverse course structures, successfully converting complex curriculum requirements into workable timetabling plans.Process and manage all sensitive timetabling data in strict compliance with GDPR and Data Protection legislation.Support the wider MIS department during key milestone periods and participate actively in the student enrolment process.
You will work closely with curriculum managers, support teams, and colleagues across the Group to ensure smooth operational delivery and maintain high customer care standards.
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual with:
An education to Level 3 or above (A-Levels, BTEC, or equivalent Apprenticeship) in an IT, business administration, or data-related field.A minimum of Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE English Language and Maths Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.An ECDL/ITQ or alternative relevant IT Level 2 qualification, alongside strong IT skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Previous professional experience in a data-driven role and an administration-heavy or busy office environment.Proven experience in customer-facing service, handling confidential information with discretion, and communicating processes clearly to individuals at all levels.Efficient and accurate data entry skills, a highly methodical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines under pressure.Experience working in a Further Education (FE) or Higher Education (HE) setting in a dedicated timetabling or scheduling role, or experience with Education System Timetabling Software (Desirable).Commitment to safeguarding, equality of opportunity, and the core values of IEG.
