Teacher of A-Level Philosophy and A-Level English Literature
Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Teacher of A-Level Philosophy and a Teacher of A-Level English Literature to join the Strode's College team on a 0.76 FTE basis. The salary for this role ranges from T1 £20,735.84 to T11 £34,459.16 (equivalent to a full time salary of T1 £31,633 to T11 £45,341), dependent on experience and qualifications. The expected start date is Thursday 20 August 2026. There is also an opportunity to split the position into two separate 0.38 FTE roles for candidates who are interested in and qualified for only one specialism. Key Responsibilities
Responsible for curriculum management, operation, and quality assurance within the subject area, ensuring high quality student learning through the most effective, efficient, and economic use of the College's resources.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of an effective curriculum strategy for the provision, staying abreast of recent syllabus changes and assessment requirements to guarantee continuous improvement of learning and performance.
Work collaboratively, coordinating the subject team, supporting colleagues with quality improvement, programme planning, and student management.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in delivering a high standard of teaching, maintaining learner retention, and supporting students to high achievement.
