Salary: Scale PO2B, points 29 - 32 (£39,862 - £42,839 FTE)
Contract: Full-time 37hrs/wk, Permanent
Location: Primarily based at Marleigh Primary School, offers hybrid working 2-3 days in office/home

The Vacancy
Anglian Learning is a successful multi-academy trust in East Anglian responsible for 22 schools educating over 11,000 pupils and employing more than 1650 staff. We are looking for an ambitious, proactive and people-focused Assistant HR Business Partner to join our Trust HR team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who is passionate about supporting schools, developing people and driving positive organisational change.
Working closely with school leaders and managers across the Trust, you will provide high-quality HR advice and operational support that helps create thriving workplaces where employees feel valued, supported and empowered to deliver the very best outcomes for pupils.
As part of the Senior HR Team, you will contribute to Trust-wide initiatives, support workforce planning and employee engagement, and play a key role in delivering an exceptional HR service across our schools.
About the Role
This varied and rewarding role will see you:
Partner with schools and leaders to support the delivery of the Trust’s people strategy and workforce plansProvide expert advice on employee relations, workforce planning and people managementSupport managers with HR policy, procedures and employment legislationChampion best practice in employee engagement, wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusionLead and manage employee relations casework, ensuring timely and effective resolutionsSupport organisational change initiatives including restructures, TUPE and workforce redesignContribute to recruitment, retention and talent development strategiesSupport learning, development and apprenticeship programmes across the TrustAssist in delivering employee engagement initiatives and Trust-wide communications campaignsSupport the implementation of digital HR systems and modern ways of workingContribute to pay and reward processes, including annual pay reviews and moderation meetingsDeputise for HR Business Partners where appropriate
