Role Overview
To deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across AAT Levels 2, 3 and 4, supporting both classroom-based and online learners. The role includes guiding apprentices through their programme, conducting progress reviews, and preparing them for End Point Assessment (EPA), ensuring excellent outcomes and progression.
Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Learning
- Deliver engaging teaching across AAT Level 2, 3 and 4 programmes (online and in-person)
- Plan lessons aligned to AAT specifications
- Develop schemes of work and learning materials
- Deliver revision sessions and exam preparation
2. Assessment & Progress
- Assess learner work and provide feedback
- Conduct apprenticeship progress reviews
- Track learner progress and maintain records
3. Apprenticeship Support & EPA Preparation
- Support development of knowledge, skills and behaviours
- Prepare learners for EPA
- Provide one-to-one support and coaching
4. Quality & Compliance- Maintain high teaching standards
- Support quality assurance processes
- Uphold safeguarding, equality and diversity
Requirements
- Ideally hold a teaching qualification such as DTLLS, CTLLS, PTLLS or equivalent
- Ideally be Assessor qualified, A1, TAQA, CAVA, or D32, D33 would be advantageous, however, Solveway will put the successful candidate through the Assessor Award if required
- Accountancy Qualifications e.g. AAT Level 4, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent
- Teaching or industry experience
- Experience assessing full apprenticeship standards would be highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Enhanced DBS Check will be required
- Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel is essential
