Cambian Beverley School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our specialist team. Working alongside our teaching and senior staff, you will play a vital role in driving the academic progress and personal achievement of our learners.

Cambian Beverley School is a small, DfE-registered independent day school. we provide high-quality specialist education for up to 16 coeducational students (aged 9-18) with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Building: Establish productive, trusting rapport with learners and colleagues.
- Classroom Support: Collaborate with Teachers/Tutors to plan, evaluate, and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
- Mentorship: Act as a consistent role model, setting high expectations for student behaviour and attainment.
- Personalised Care: Respond sensitively to the unique SEMH requirements of each student

Requirements for an Enhanced DBS and reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practice. Whilst we endeavour to keep the recruitment process as short as possible due to the nature of these important checks it may extend the processing time.
We will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the search and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
