Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant to support across a KS2 classroom in Gateshead, with a focus on interventions and small group work.
About the role: You'll work closely with the class teacher to deliver targeted support, helping pupils who may need extra guidance.
Your day to day will include: - Running small group interventions in reading and maths
- Supporting pupils who need additional help to stay on track
- Reinforcing learning during whole class lessons
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
What we're looking for: - A confident and supportive individual
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for education
Working hours: - Monday to Friday
- 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Full time
Pay and other benefits: All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
