Reed FE currently seeking a Carpentry & Joinery Skills Coach to join a fantastic apprenticeships team. This temporary position involves preparing learners for their End Point Assessments, ensuring they are fully ready and confident to succeed.
Carpentry & Joinery Skills Coach
- Job Type: Temporary ongoing ( term time only )
- Location: Staffordshire
- Salary: £25 - £35 per hour
- Start Date: ASAP
Day-to-day of the role of a Carpentry and Joinery Skills Coach
- Conduct Progress Reviews with learners to monitor and support their development.
- Provide targeted preparation sessions to get learners EPA ready.
- Work closely with learners, offering guidance and support to ensure they are in an excellent place for their assessments.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to learner preparation and success.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Carpentry and Joinery role:
- Recognised assessing or verifying qualification E.G A1, TAQA, CAVA, VI, IQA ect
- Proficient in Carpentry and Joinery with relevant professional experience.
- Experience in coaching or teaching, preferably in a vocational education setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively mentor and motivate learners.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple learners and their progress reviews efficiently.
- Ability to start immediately or by the specified date and commit to the duration required to prepare learners for their EPA.
