Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Freelance Early Years Assessor/Trainer, based in Liverpool, with some flexibility to work from home. The role involves mentoring and assessing learners undertaking Early Years qualifications, ensuring that they meet relevant standards and requirements. Key responsibilities include conducting workplace observations and assessments, providing feedback to learners, and supporting their development and achievement of skills in line with apprenticeship frameworks or qualifications. The role also includes maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory and organisational standards.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Early Years education and childcare practicesSkills in assessment, mentoring, and providing constructive feedbackProficiency in recording, tracking learner progress, and administrative accuracyEffective communication, organization, and time-management skillsRecognized Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA or equivalent) is essentialExperience delivering training or assessing apprenticeships in Early Years is advantageousCompetence in using technology to manage and deliver training remotelyAccess to reliable transportation for workplace visits when required
