Inside Connections CIC is seeking an experienced and passionate Education & Employment Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality education, training, and employment support services across the North West. Based in Liverpool, this full-time permanent role is focused on driving positive outcomes for individuals facing complex barriers, helping them progress into education, apprenticeships, training, and sustainable employment.
The successful candidate will provide strong operational and people leadership, ensuring services are delivered effectively, consistently, and in line with quality standards. You will oversee staffing, timetabling, and capacity management while embedding a culture of continuous improvement through quality assurance processes, SAR and QIP management, and performance monitoring.
A key part of the role involves leading and developing a committed delivery team through coaching, support, and continuous professional development. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with employers, referral partners, and external stakeholders to support recruitment, engagement, learner progression, and community impact.
Using data and MIS systems, the Education & Employment Manager will track performance, analyse trends, produce reports, and implement targeted improvements to enhance learner outcomes and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of education and employment programmes across the organisation
* Manage staffing, timetabling, and operational capacity
* Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
* Support and develop staff performance through coaching and leadership
* Monitor learner progression into education, apprenticeships, and employment
* Build partnerships with employers and referral agencies
* Analyse data and performance metrics to inform improvements
* Ensure compliance with funding, safeguarding, and inspection frameworks
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in education or skills provision, with a strong track record of improving teaching, learning, and assessment. You will possess excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills, alongside experience managing staff performance, safeguarding, funding compliance, and employer engagement.
A teaching or training qualification and experience working with individuals facing complex barriers would be highly advantageous.
