A friendly and welcoming primary school in Haringey is looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant after school club team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Early Years experience who enjoys creating fun, engaging experiences for young children in a relaxed and supportive environment. You'll be working alongside experienced staff supporting children aged 3-5 during after school hours.
The Role
The successful candidate will help provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where children can unwind, play, and socialise after the school day.
You'll support children with snack time, encourage positive play and interaction, and help keep children engaged with the wide range of resources and activities available - including access to a popular ball pit play area.
This role is ideal for a warm, energetic, and proactive individual who genuinely enjoys working with young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children aged 3-5 within the after school club setting
- Help supervise and engage children through play based activities
- Assist children during snack and eating times
- Encourage positive behaviour, social interaction, and independence
- Ensure children are safe, happy, and actively engaged throughout the session
- Work closely with experienced staff to maintain a nurturing environment
- Support the smooth running of daily activities and routines
Requirements
- Previous experience working within an EYFS or childcare setting
- A fun, energetic, and caring personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
- Passion for supporting children's development through play
- Relevant childcare or Early Years qualification desirable

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher rates are reserved for candidates with substantial experience and/or relevant training. Pay is determined in line with school expectations and Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.
