Old Newton Primary School is seeking to appoint an effective, motivated and experienced KS2 Class Teacher who has the ability to create a nurturing learning environment and who is committed to providing an adaptive, stimulating learning experience for the children in your class.
You will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Outstanding classroom skills and a secure knowledge of KS2 curriculum
- High expectations of children's progress with a proven commitment to continuing high standards
- The ability to respond to behaviour in a positive manner with resilience and sensitivity
- Proven skills of organisation and flexibility
- The ability to work with others collaboratively with effective communication skills
Our school motto is Inspire - Nurture - Flourish and this lies at the heart of all that we do. Old Newton is a highly regarded, ambitious and creative school in the Tilian Partnership Multi- Academy Trust. We are set in a small village 2 miles north of Stowmarket and currently have 71 pupils on roll. Our accommodation comprises of a mix of traditional Victorian buildings and a sympathetic modern extension. We are fortunate to have extensive outdoor grounds and our own forest school area.
