Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering tailored lessons for pupils with SLD and complex needs
- Adapting learning to meet a wide range of abilities and learning styles
- Supporting communication needs using visual aids, PECS, Makaton, and sensory approaches
- Managing a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
- Working closely with support staff, therapists, and parents
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with SLD, PMLD, Autism, or complex SEND
- Strong behaviour management and adaptive teaching skills
- A patient, resilient, and creative approach to teaching
Benefits
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with the option to make the role permanent in some cases.
