Axcis Education are working closely to support a well-regarded Secondary SEMH Provision in Torbay, requiring a passionate full-time SEND Teacher for their Year 8 cohort starting in September 2026. The role involves delivering subjects-mostly at a primary aged level-across the curriculum from 8:30 to 16:00. The rate of pay will be against the Main Pay Scale. Requirements
- Experience working with students with SEND, particularly SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and ADHD
- Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students
- Confidence in managing behaviour and delivering learning in a creative, flexible way
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience as a Cover Supervisor in a similar environment is highly desirable
