Position: SEN Tutor
Location: Winchester and nearby areas
Contract Type: Flexible full time and part time roles available
Key Duties
- Plan and deliver personalised learning sessions
- Support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and anxiety
- Adapt resources and teaching methods to meet individual requirements
- Encourage motivation, self esteem, and independent learning
- Build professional and supportive relationships with students and families
- Assess progress and tailor support accordingly
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience supporting children or young people is preferred
- Suitable for candidates from educational, mentoring, care, support work, or tutoring backgrounds
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Calm, empathetic, and flexible approach
- Good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
- Willingness to travel within Winchester and surrounding areas

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position; in some cases the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
