GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to work in secondary schools across Lincoln. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
The successful candidate will support students in developing scientific understanding, curiosity, and confidence across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Support students in developing practical and theoretical scientific knowledge
- Assess and monitor student progress effectively
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Promote positive behaviour and high expectations for learning
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for motivating and supporting young learners
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
