The Governors are looking to appoint a permanent part time Teaching Assistant from Summer Term 2026.
Salary: £19,246.57
Term time only plus INSET days.
Responsibilities
- Work 28.30 hours per week to support learning, including small group interventions;
- Provide structured support with specific work programmes, designed and supervised by teachers;
- Assist the teacher with the planning of learning activities and maintaining positive behaviour in the classroom;
- Provide support to pupils to achieve learning goals and accurately record progress;
- Support pupils' health & welfare needs, attend school visits and other school activities;
- Be flexible to fit working hours to suit the needs of the school;
- Have good organisational skills and be able to complete basic admin tasks;
- Be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school.
Qualifications & attributes
- Friendly, caring and loves working with children
- Has achieved NVQ level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
- Has recent, relevant experience
