Geography Teacher, Bristol

We are actively recruiting an enthusiastic and skilled Geography Teacher with UK recognised QTS based in Bristol.

An Excellent OFSTED graded secondary school in Bristol are looking for a full time Geography teacher to join their school in January 2026. This is a long term placement and as a newly appointed teacher you will be fully supported by the department head and a number of key staff; As part of this role you will teach up to GCSE level and be responsible for participating in team planning.

Daily rate of pay will start at £145 and can increase to £232.57, for more experienced teachers with UK recognised Qualified Teaching Status.

UK qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential for this role.

Job responsibilities

Planning/Teaching all lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Creating a positive environment and managing behaviour within the classroom
Providing leadership for the classroom assistant to provide the best support for all pupils

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status recognised in the UK
Full time availability
Specialism or experience teaching Geography in UK based schools
