Active Ipswich and Ipswich Fit are looking to recruit a Swimming Instructor to their already exciting Swimming Lesson programme (the largest in the local area). This includes those who are looking for self employed work.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for teaching adults and children with varying learning or physical abilities/needs to swim (in accordance with Swim England and Institute for Sport guidance), a vital life skill.
Qualifications
You will be required to have either the previous Level 2 Swimming Instructors Qualification or the newly combined National Swimming Instructors Qualification. Those who are currently undertaking their qualification or have been accepted onto a future course may still apply with the understanding that they cannot take up the full role until completion of the course and qualification documents have been received.
The ideal candidate is friendly, positive minded, can work independently as well as part of a team, delivers confidently in front of a variety of people and has a passion for their craft. Water safety must be at the forefront of their mind with an eye for creative lesson planning and implementation. DBS clearance is required for this role.
